Music Day is the UK wide, annual celebration of the power of music to change lives, with over a thousand events across the UK and broadcasts on TV, radio and digital. The theme this year is music and wellbeing; the power of music to inspire, bring us together and make a positive impact.<\/p>\n<p>The plan for The Big Sing in Northumberland is to get as many people, groups, organisations and places singing the same song at the same time: 11.00am on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As part of this initiative, BBC Music Day will be launching an ambitious project, to help bring music to everyone living with dementia by 2020. September is also World Alzheimer&#8217;s Month, with World Alzheimer&#8217;s Day being on 21st September each year.<\/p>\n<p>We invite you to join us at 10.45am, ready for The Big Sing at 11.00am. The chosen song is Hey Jude and we will provide the words and accompanying music. It would be great to have your support &#8211; everyone is welcome!
