Odd Job Services
We can help with those small jobs
Tasks like moving furniture within the home, cleaning internal windows, small gardens or garage tidy-ups. We can undertake most jobs that do not require a tradesman. As a member of Adapt you can access this service. Annual membership is £2.00 for individuals.
The Odd Job Service is available to disabled people, older people and women living alone. Charges for work are £9.00 per hour (minimum time 30 minutes - £4.50).

All of Adapt's staff are suitably qualified and CRB cleared.
How it Works
A staff member will call, by prior arrangement, to assess the job to be done. They will ask you to sign the request form agreeing the costs and time involved. Unfortunately we cannot do work, such as electrics or plumbing, that requires skilled tradesmen.
The agreed work will be carried out at the earliest opportunity.
It would also be helpful if you could provide the necessary tools and equipment to do the job (such as lawnmower etc).
