Becoming a member
Anyone can become a member. Membership runs from January to December each year. We have a sliding scale membership cost of:
- £2 for individuals
- £10 for community groups
- £20 for funded voluntary groups
- £40 for statutory organisations/private companies
To become a member, please download, print out and fill in the form below
and return it to us with your cheque made out to Adapt (NE).
People who use our transport services do need to be members to allow us to abide by community transport regulations.
If you use Dial-a-Ride and are not yet a member, you can pick up a membership form on all our buses – just fill it in and give it to the driver with your membership fee.
Membership gives you access to all our services but also a voice within the organisation. We will send you newsletters in January, May and September to keep you up to date with relevant news and updates.
We keep membership at a nominal rate and it allows us to maintain an up-to-date mailing list. We don’t issue membership cards, however, as we wish to promote open access – we will be happy to provide information regardless of membership.
