Safer Driving for Life (SDFL)
Safer Driving for Life is a 2 -3 hour theory session followed by a one hour in-car driver improvement session which is aimed at raising skills and boosting the confidence of people who, for whatever reason, feel that they would like to re-visit and boost their driving skills. The aims of the course are to raise skills, confidence and ability and thereby help individuals to maintain their independence by retaining their driving licence in what we know to be a very rural environment with limited public transport links. Many people find themselves in a position which means that they have to drive a vehicle when they have relied on another person for some time. This is when this course can prove to be a boon by providing a “refresher” session.
The course is delivered by a Driving Standards Agency approved driving instructor and is free of charge. Further details of available courses can be obtained by contacting Edwina Little through Contact Us.
