Equality Training

Equality training for voluntary and community groups and organisations in Northumberland

Northumberland’s Single Equality Forum is running equality training courses in December 2013 for voluntary and community sector managers and trustees.  Provided by equality and diversity specialist and freelance trainer Vijaya Kotur, the training will focus on legal and good practice issues relevant to achieving equality in employee and volunteer recruitment and management.

The training is FREE, and there is a choice of dates and venues:

• Wednesday 4th December – Hexham (Adapt office)

• Thursday 5th December – Berwick (William Elder Building)

• Monday 9th December – Ashington (Age UK Round House)

• Wednesday 11th December – Blyth (Community Enterprise Centre)

• Thursday 12th December – Stannington (Village Hall)

Each session is from 10.00 to 1.00, with lunch provided at 1.00.  Travel costs of attendees from unfunded groups and organisations will be reimbursed.

Please note:

• Your group or organisation may book more than one place.  However, if demand is high, places per group or organisation may be limited.

• A minimum of five participants is needed for a session to go ahead.
